Wow. It's amazing what a week of a normal schedule and good sleep can do for you. I had one of the best family vacations ever. I went to Gulf Shores with my brother and sister. It's the first time we've gone on a trip without the parents.

This morning we talked about "Hypermiling" on the after show, and I wanted to give you more information on that, and a link. I knew it wouldn't go fast but I am getting a little anxious now. My situation is this. I kept the house after my divorce. I gave the majority of the furniture to my ex. So it was pretty much an empty house until you got to the third floor and saw my bedroom. I had it staged this week. Meaning a company came in and decor... The Post ran a great story last weekend about how it would affect the psyche of St. Louis to lose this part of our heritage, and I think they're right. Now - some well-intentioned beer drinkers have started a petition effort to... I can't tell you how impressed I am with the turnout this weekend for the "Call to Oneness" in St. Louis. The paper estimated the crowd at 20,000, but even if that's high, it's quite an accomplishment. I just hope it translates in to something good. Maybe it will have an impact on the young kids who have yet to become disaffected. We all know gang violence plays such a huge role in the current homicide rates in the city, and it will obvious... |
