October 2007 ArchivesI can't think of many things in life that bring everything in to focus like the birth of a child. Ginger is one week old today, and we just marvel at her and thank God for this blessing. Her mom, brother and sister are doing well, and we couldn't be happier! Thanks to all of you who've emailed about Ginge... She's here!!! Marc just called and his beautiful baby girl has finally arrived.
She will have a lot of loving people to welcome her home. ... I have the honor of emceeing a wonderful event tonight. At least 30 of the top chefs in St Louis will be at the Ritz Carlton tonight letting people try their food and some will auction off private dinners and parties to the highest bidders.
I may be gone soon. I sketched this on my lunch break...and the way things are going in schools these days, a suspension may be in order :( Read here about the death of common sense! Friday night we had a "cook out." Apparently, mid westerners don't know what that is.
We've been getting some questions about the recent changes to News 4 This Morning, so I thought I should address some of those. On Monday we moved our starting time each morning to 5 am, and the newscast runs straight through until 7 am each morning. We made this change in part be... Here's my update on that "Dancing with St Louis Stars" dance competition. I am in serious trouble. I haven't been to practice in over two weeks. The last time I was there I tried on the loin cloth that my dance partner refers to as a costume and he added a lift to our routine. It is official. I must go down to T Town to see what is going on with my Crimson Tide.
