Iron Bowl Eve

Virginia

I just got off the phone with my dad. Let's just say he could have done without his daughter flaunting the "Crimson Banner" on live tv. You see, certain University of Alabama fans carry Tide detergent boxes with a roll of toilet paper taped on top to games. It is supposed to symbolize the "Roll Tide," which is a chant, cheer and Alabama greeting in Dixie.

I decided to make my first one to show my Crimson Pride the day before the Alabama-Auburn game. Now, I would never take one of those to a game, but come on, it does show enthusiasm and dedication.
When I told my father on the phone that I unveiled this home made sign on this morning's show his reaction was "You did not??!!!" Sorry, Dad, I did. The more sophisticated fans are a little embarrased by these signs and usually by the fans carrying them.
So dear Kerr Family, Virginia needs an Alabama Crimson Tide mug to use at work for Christmas because I don't think I impressed my co-workers too much either.
Roll Tide Roll!!
