I enjoyed "INVINCIBLE" more than any movie I've seen since Star Wars III, so that should explain how cool I thought it was to meet the star of the movie Monday. No, not Mark Wahlberg. I'm talking about the man himself - Vince Papale. He did admit, in his South Philly accent, that he had to adjust to the fact the movie truly is a dramatization of the events in his life. For example, some things happened several years before his NFL tryout, not several weeks, but Hollywood had to add in that emotion, and I'd say they succeeded. Vince did say all of the events really happened, just not necessarily in that order. And another thing I didn't know...at the end of the movie, it says he married "Janet" and has two kids. But it's not the same Janet who's character is in the movie with him. He says his wife is a former USA Gymnast.

On a side note, the man who succeeded Papale with #83 on the Eagles in 1980 - and caught the only TD they scored in Super Bowl XV- is a teacher right here in St. Louis. Rodney Parker made a visit to our studio this morning!

Great guy, and I'm sure he's quite a motivator for his students.
