I know Marc can't stand it when the temperatures drop below 75. He says it reminds him that winter is not far behind. That's why you are supposed to live in the moment. If you are hanging on to every summer day when you got to play golf, go boating, water ski and lay out in the sun, you will miss the finer things of fall. Autumn is my favorite season. The golden leaves means beautiful long Sunday afternoon drives. You can run your dog without having to worry about either one of you passing out from heat exhaustion. It means sweet potatoe cassarole, pumpkin pie, and Halloween candy. It also reminds me of being a kid raking leaves with my dad or just keeping him company while he did the work. BUT most of all the fall season means college football, University of Alabama football. Football is a must where I am from. Whether you went to school there or not you better chose between Alabama and Auburn. I know Alabama is not the impressive team it has been in the past but we still have the passion. Those passionate players are just a little young this year. I say this because I am really worried they are going to get creamed tomorrow by Florida and I don't even want to think about what will happen in the Iron Bowl. But until then, I will live in the moment during every game and wish them the best. |
