January 2006 ArchivesWhat a great week. We got to meet Cheech Marin this week, who's in town promoting his Science Center exhibit of Chicano Artwork. What a career this guy has had so far, since people of my generation know him as a pot smoking hippie, and my kids know him as Joonie's Uncle on Spy Kids! He told me he's got another TV project he'll be starting soon, but it's too early to share details. He's a genuinely nice guy, and you might even get to see hi... I'm still writing '05 on every check! Hook 'Em Horns: For those who don't know, Richelle grew up in Texas. For those who don't know, or who weren't watching, Texas pullled off possibly the greatest come-from-behind victory in College Bowl history last night to win the National Championship! |
