Merry Christmas

9:50 AM Tue, Dec 20, 2005 |

The holiday season alway includes fun gifts from co-workers...but I'll have to say Matt Chambers may have topped them all with a favorite this morning. Those of you who watch regularly know I'm a huge fan of the University of Kentucky basketball program. Chambers found me a UK silk tie, that also happens to be fashionable, if I must say so myself! So pay attention as we approach March Madness this year...I guarantee that present will make a...

What a day! We had breaking news with a reservoir failure in Reynolds County, and where's Richelle Carey? Taking the day off. Now that's timing! All jokes aside we did provide great coverage of this story, considering the distance from St. Louis. Ch. 4 was the first station to get video on the air this morning, along with an interview with one of the truckers swept off the road by the flood waters.

Virginia's segment on pet gifts was great! No one wants to admit it but SOMEONE is spending all that money on their pets. Keep those p...

So, we load up on crews, send out the live trucks, and wait. That's what happened this morning at 5:30 am, and true to form, the snow didn't hit until 8:00 am. This is the view in Bonne Terre this morning, at the home a KMOV employee:

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow

11:10 AM Wed, Dec 07, 2005 |

So we're getting ready here for what could be up to 4 inches of snow. We want to make sure we're ready to get YOU ready to get out the door tomorrow. As I'm typing this....Marc is talking with the folks at MoDot to make sure they'll be ready to clear the roads for you early Thursday morning. We'll have complete team coverage tomorrow..that means extra reporters..whatever it takes to get all the angles covered and all your questions answered on...
