« Fatal construction fall. | Main | Brewing disappointment...THE TRUTH. »
My quest to get to the truth about the disappearance of Starbucks valencia syrup (which began here, and continued here and here) is starting to get peoples' attention... unfortunately not the fine folks at Starbucks who could put an end to all this nonsense.
Janice Culver of Thornton, CO writes:
Mocha Valencia is the ONLY drink I ever went to Starbucks for since they opened. Everywhere I have ever traveled from CA to NY and in between, I always ordered Mocha Valencia (even though it hasn't even been on the menu for years), and it was a downright addiction for me. I am having a conniption fit about its disappearance.
If your coverage gets the attention of Starbucks, and they put Valencia syrup back in the stores, you will be my HERO!!
Janice, my goal here is not to be anyone's hero. There are much more deserving souls out there.
But if Starbucks hears our pleas -- and returns valencia syrup to its rightful place alongside toffee nut and sugar-free vanilla -- I will share with you the warm and comforting feeling that comes from a job well done and a grande nonfat mocha valencia.
Hold the whip.

I did a google search to see if it was just me, i'm furious with starbucks and the valencia syrup issue. Apparently at my coffee shop I maybe the only person ordering it. I saw it on the menu in Chicago so I brought it back to Indiana. I'm basically getting set to close the starbucks chapter in my life and move on, starbucks can join that catagory with exwives and exgirlfriends!!!!!!!!!!
