My baby boy turned 1 over the weekend and we survived the big birthday weekend extravaganza! It was hectic and messy, but we had a blast celebrating Jude's first birthday. On Saturday my best friend and I threw a party for our boys. They are only 12 hours apart, so we thought it would be fun to celebrate together. They each got their own little birthday cake and...I think the pictures will show how much fun they had!

After the combined party on Saturday, we had a family party on Sunday (Jude's actual birthday). Jude knew what to do with cake by Sunday:

We had a great time celebrating Jude's birthday, surrounded by family and friends and lots of cake! And I was able to enjoy myself and not stress too much over the party hosting. I can't believe it's been a year since we welcomed Jude into our world. It's been a fun year and I'm looking forward to the adventures that life as a mommy has in store for me!
