November 2008 ArchivesMy new baby boy, Jude is a special little guy. I'm not just saying that because I'm a proud mom...even though I am. He's also special because he is the first grandchild for my parents, he is the first great-grandchild for both sets of my grandparents and he is the first great-great-grandchild on my dad's side of the family. In case you haven't guessed, this kid is spoiled like you would not believe! A couple of weeks ago we took Jude ... Well...I'm back. Today is my first day back in the newsroom and it has actually been a lot better than I thought it would be. I thought I would just break down if anyone asked about the baby, but instead, I've been really happy to talk about my little boy. I brought a few pictures to put on my desk, both to show off and to make me feel more at home. I'm a proud new mommy and it so fun to talk to people about how wonderful my son is and how exc... If there is one thing I've learned these last 4 weeks about being a mom, it's that time is hard to come by. When I left for maternity leave, I had every intention of faithfully blogging from home, but I had no idea how much of my time would be dominated by my little boy. Everytime I sit down to blog, Jude has other plans. I kid you not...even as I'm typing this, Jude is starting to wake up, which means it's almost time for him to eat...again! ... |
