These calendars just get longer and longer every week...full of tons of great options!

This week, I'm particularly excited about jammin' at the zoo. There are 2 of these each summer, this is the first this summer. I attended one last year and it was awesome. Tons of young professionals and unlimited samples of beer and wine from 6-8 pm for only $20. There are several bands that perform scattered across the zoo grounds. This is a don't miss!

Monday July 20:

Celebrate the 40th Anniversary of Man's First Walk on the Moon at Moonfest 2009. From 5:00pm - 9:00pm in the Moonrise Hotel lobby and the Rooftop Terrace Bar- 6177 Delmar (in The Loop). Enjoy Tang-tinis, Blue Moon beer and homemade Moon Pies, watch footage of the historic event and even take a glimpse into space through telescopes set up on the Rooftop Terrace

Tuesday July 21:

River City Professionals happy hour from 5:30-9pm at the Contemporary Art Museum- 3750 Washington Ave. This event is also a preview party with the artists and gallery exhibits for the 4th Annual City-Wide Open Studios.

Fuel Happy Hour at Pi -6144 Delmar, 6pm.

Wednesday July 22:

Jammin' at the Zoo, 6-10pm. The Young Zoo friends host this summer party lakeside in the center of the zoo. Unlimited beer and wine tasting from 6-8pm for $20 (non-members).

Conversations in Black & White, 5:30pm- Actors will perform short vignettes dealing with race, religion and sexual orientation. Afterwards viewers will have a round table discussion relating their experiences with these issues. LIght appetizers, cash bar, and DJ. MacDermott Grand Hall in the Missouri History Museum.

Whitaker Music Festival at the Botanical Gardens. Free admission after 5pm, concert begins at 7:30pm at the Cohen Amphitheater

Maplewood's Summer Concert Series. 6 p.m. - 8 p.m. at Ryan Hummert Memorial Park -2500 Sutton Street. The Dogtown Allstars will perform.

Thursday July 23:

Volume II: A Cutting-Edge Charity Event to Benefit Siteman Cancer Center. At Home Nightclub in the Ameristar Casino Resort in St. Charles. 9pm-2am This is a live hair show with St. Louis' hottest DJs and specialty drinks. Tickets are available online for $10 in advance at BrownPaperTickets.com or $15 at the door.

Downtown Kirkwood Summer Concert Series from 6:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Station Plaza - 120 S. Kirkwood Road.

Free Outdoor Movie-Pineapple Express. Bring your lawn chairs and relax in Soulard Park (1699 S. 8th St.) under the stars. The movie starts at dusk so come early to grab a good spot on the grass.

Friday July 24:

Jungle Boogie at the zoo. Free concert, 5-8pm.

Parties at the Park, Fairmount Park - 9301 Collinsville Road in Collinsville, IL. Your 11 dollar ticket includes admission into the park, buffet and drink specials.

Live On The Levee @ St. Louis Arch Grounds from 6-10pm, fireworks 9:15pm. Angie Stone

Friday & Saturday July 24-25:

Belgian Beer & Mussel Mania, 5-9pm both nights at the Schlafly Tap Room. Mussels, Beer and live music!

Saturday July 25:

The Art of Food, 6 p.m. - 10 p.m. at Mad Art Gallery - 2727 S. 12th Street. This annual fundraiser will showcase the area's top restaurants serving delectable hors d'oeuvres using only the freshest, local ingredients prepared in the Slow Food tradition. Food-themed art and gift baskets will be up for auction. $40 for non-members in advance.

Saturday & Sunday July 25-26:

4th Annual City-Wide Open Studios. From 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. both days. Take part in the chance to discuss art with the artists themselves--while exploring the creative spaces where art is made.

Sunday July 26:

McKnight Crossing presents The Big Splash- a poolside fashion and trunk show, from 2 - 6 p.m. The event is free and open to the public. Complimentary food and drink.
