Happy Memorial Day everyone! Here's hoping you had a great day and were able to get your events in despite dodging the rain drops.

I hope you can join me to help raise money for Operation Food Search at Morton's Friday night. The weather should be nice, the patio will be open and it's going to be a great time!

The free outdoor movies are back too. I was pretty excited to see that you can catch Ghostbusters this weekend. For information on the events I mentioned and more, read on!

Through June 14:

The Shakespeare Festival of St. Louis presents the Merry Wives Of Windsor. Free in Shakespeare Glen in Forest Park. Performances 8:00 nightly, except Tuesdays. Green Show entertainment begins at 6:30.

Tuesday May 26:

901 Silver tequila launch party at Club Mandarin (44 Maryland Plaza) at 9pm.

Twilight Tuesday at the Missouri History Museum, 6:30pm. Free outdoor concert featuring Motown Revue.

Metropolis Wine Club - Artsy Wines at Urban Eats Café, Gallery and Loft. 6:00 to 8:30 pm. Each guest brings an "artistic" bottle of wine or a plate of appetizers to share. RSVP required by Monday, May 25 at 5pm. If you miss the deadline, contact suzannemoak@yahoo.com

Thursday May 28:

Speed Matching, 7-11pm at Café Eau. Music, dance, food, drink and compatibility. Pre-register for $35, $40 door.

Friday May 29:

Jungle Boogie at the zoo. Free concert by Boogie Chyld (Funk), 5-8pm.

Party at Home Nightclub at 10pm to welcome the St. Louis Rams Rookies. Guest hosts Jason Smith and James Laurinaitis.

Good Times For A Great Cause at Morton's (7822 Bonhomme Ave) from 5-7pm, $25. I will be guest bartending alongside Jim Doyle from KEZK. Enjoy cocktails and appetizers while 100% of ticket sales and "tips" collected by Jim and I will go to Operation Food Search!

Saturday May 30:

Taste of Maplewood along Sutton Blvd from 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. Sample local restaurant fare while enjoying live music in a festive, artsy and eclectic atmosthere .

Beer and Brats Festival at Westport Plaza, Noon -5pm. $20. Live bands, beer tasting, food available for purchase, and street performers.

Free outdoor movie. Ghostbusters at dusk at St. Stephens Church.
