Sorry for the delay guys. I was in Las Vegas over the weekend and just got back to work today. This was our 4th annual girls trip out there for March Madness opening weekend. Thought I'd share a few pics with you...
So the biggie this week is St. Louis Fashion Week. But if that's not your thing, there are lots of others to choose from. Read on! Tuesday March 24: Metropolis Wine Club -Recession Relief Wines. From 6:30 to 8:30 pm at Parkside Lounge, 3117 S. Grand Blvd. RSVP required at www.mstl.org by Monday, March 23 at 5:00 pm. If you miss the deadline, contact suzannemoak@yahoo.com. Guests will pay a flat $10 cash admission at the door which will include a wine tasting and appetizers. Bottles will also be available for purchase to take home at slightly above wholesale cost. Wednesday March 25: St. Louis Fashion Week. Project Runway's Jerell Scott and the top 6 finalists in the Bakers Project: Design! Competition. VIP reception at HoteLumière: 6pm (VIP ticket holders only). Doors: 7pm at Lumière Place Casino & Hotels Thursday March 26: St. Louis Fashion Week. Brown Shoe presents PURE- with Black Halo, Cloak & Dagger, Beach Bunny Swimwear & TRIM. VIP reception at HoteLumière: 6pm (VIP ticket holders only). Doors: 7pm at Lumière Place Casino & Hotels. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde at the Loretto-Hilton Center, 130 Edgar Road, Webster Groves. Join The Rep Set for a 6:30 pm pre-show party (featuring food from Chanterelle Catering) in the lobby of the new Community Music School (adjacent to the theatre), then confront your inner demons at 8 pm. Ticket and pre-show party $40. Friday March 27: St. Louis Fashion Week. Brown Shoe presents EMERGE with DIESEL, Wrath Arcane, Bolongaro Trevor & Love Brigade. VIP reception at HoteLumière: 6pm (VIP ticket holders only). Doors: 7pm at Lumière Place Casino & Hotels, 999 2nd Ave. ALIVE (Alternatives to Living in Violent Environments), a 25-year-old nonprofit that serves victims of domestic abuse, is having its annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction at The Wine and Cheese Place in Clayton from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tickets are $50/person or $90 per couple. Saturday March 28: Saint Louis Fashion Week. ATRIUM FASHION WEEK MARKET. Experience a day of shopping at Saint Louis Fashion Week's first-ever designer marketplace. Meet Fashion Week designers and shop sample sales, trunk shows and STL's top boutiques. NO TICKET REQUIRED FOR ADMISSION. 11am - 5pm at Lumière Place Casino & Hotels, 999 2nd Ave., Downtown. Saint Louis Fashion Week. FGI PRESENTS FRESH. A luncheon and runway fashion show hosted by our very own Vickie Newton. FRESH features Fashion Group International's St. Louis Rising Star designers Angelina Accoutrements by Jen Sertl, KayOss Designs by Amy Johnson, Miriam Coffey, Suzanne Lay, Squasht by Les by Lesley Timpe and Urban Fox by Megan Power and Lizzie Cook. $35 for non-member includes lunch, premium seating & gift bag. $15 runway show-only tickets available day of show. Saint Louis Fashion Week. Macy's presents GLOW featuring Macy's top designers and Lori Coulter Made-To-Order Swimwear. VIP reception at HoteLumière: 6pm (VIP ticket holders only). Doors: 7pm at Lumière Place Casino & Hotels, 999 2nd Ave., Downtown, Annual Mad Hatter's Pub Crawl-10:30am - 7:30pm. Join Fuel for a day long pub tour along the Great River Road in Grafton, and on to Fast Eddies. We dress up in outlandish hats and frolic about town via a chartered bus that kicks off in Dogtown. Tickets are $35 and includes breakfast at Pat's Bar (our 10:30 AM meeting place), bloody mary's for the ride, transportation, and prizes for creative hat competition. This event sells out FAST!! The World Tour 2009 Ultimate Wine Tasting. 5:30-8pm at the Moto Museum, 3441 Olive St. $60 at the door. Over 300 wines to sample. Food provided by Triumph Grill.
