I attended opening night last night at The Fox Theatre. I've seen a lot of Broadway shows and I certainly have my favorites. But I can tell you, this is the most FUN show I've ever seen.

It closely follows the movie with only a few small changes. Instead of sending a video to Harvard, Elle travels there with cheerleaders and a marching band for a big production number. Plus we get to know the character of Emmett (the guy she ends up with at the end) better than that of the movie. And I can't forget the Greek chorus-Elle's Delta Nu sisters that come back to her in hallucinations for encouragement. Expect lots of music and dancing, lots of pink and lots of laughing. I especially enjoyed all the little fun pop culture references that were made. My friend Anna and I loved it...and she's been to a lot of shows too.

Guys, this would be a great show to bring a date to. Gals, grab a girlfriend and go! And parents, your daughters will love it!

Oh, the dogs and UPS man are total scene stealers, be on the look out for them!
