Happy Monday everyone! Lots of fun stuff going on this week! I'm a little disappointed that I'm going to miss the Fire and Ice Party Tuesday but I have opening night tickets to Legally Blonde which I'm very excited about! I'll let you know all about the show on Wednesday. Cocktails for a cause is always a great time as well, if you haven't been out to one of these monthly gatherings then you should check it out. Everything you need to know about these events and more...just keep reading! Tuesday January 20: Fuel Fire and Ice Party with River City Professionals, 5:30-9pm at The Stable, 1821 Cherokee Street. Food, Martinis and a chance to mingle with young professionals. No cover. Free appetizers & drink specials! January 20 - Feb 1: Legally Blonde the Musical at the Fox Theatre. Tickets $27 and up. Wednesday January 21: Cocktails For A Cause at Trattoria Branica, 6-8pm. 451 S. Kirkwood in the Woodbine Center. With your $10 donation to the St. Louis Arc, you will receive complimentary Miller Lite. Thursday January 22: Legally Blonde the Musical Cocktail Soiree. Cocktails, cupcakes, shopping with Tiffany & Co. and special appearances by cast members. Help raise money for the Companion Animal Alliance by purchasing raffle tickets for jewelry, show tickets, and more. 5-8pm at Tiffany & Co at Plaza Frontenac. Friday January 23: Opening Night at The Contemporary Art Museum - 3750 Washington Blvd. from 7PM- 9PM. Enjoy free admission, a cash bar, complimentary valet and the ability to explore the Contemporary Art Museum. Booze & Schmooze at Big Daddy's in Soulard. I think the name says it all! Have a few drinks while networking with other young professionals from around St. Louis. Tell them you're with Booze & Schmooze at the door and they'll point you to the private heated tent where you'll get great drink specials from 7 to 10. Friday & Saturday January 23-24: Pilobolus at the Touhill Performing Arts Center. From seasons on Broadway to Toyota TV commercials, from the 2002 Winter Olympics to the 2007 Academy Awards, these agile and powerful dancers never fail to entrance. Playful illusionists, mind-boggling acrobats, gravity-defying shape-shifters--there's nothing like Pilobolus! Tickets $30 and up. Saturday January 24: Young Variety's Trivia Night, 7-10pm at Central Reform Congregation, 5040 Waterman Ave. Saturday & Sunday January 24-25: The Seventh Annual St. Louis Food and Wine Experience. 11am-6pm Saturday, 12 pm-5pm Sunday at the Chase Park Plaza Hotel. Over 500 wines to sample, celebrity chefs and food specialists will serve delicious samples. All proceeds from the event benefit the education and community outreach programs of The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis. $45 & up.
