New in town? Looking to do some networking? Maybe you just want to meet some new people. A great way to do that is through the River City Professionals(RCP). It's all about networking, being social and getting involved in the community.

Last night I attended RCPs monthly happy hour. They are held on the third Tuesday of each month at different locations. They team up with a different non-profit each month as well to either contribute to the cause or at the least raise awareness.

Last night's event was on the 30th floor of the Laclede Gas Building at the Point Of View Restaurant. I didn't know there was a restaurant up there! There was a nice spread of finger foods and a cash bar.

The event was well attended. This month, RCP partnered up with the Ronald McDonald House. Each attendee was asked to bring an unwrapped toy for the charity. It was nice to see the pile of toys grow as the night progressed!

This was a fun event and glad quite a number of toys were donated...it's good to see that with all the news about the economy, people are still getting out to have fun + donate to a good cause!

Scott Lapp did great with yet another fun RCP venue...the view was amazing and looking forward to the annual gift exchange RCP next month!!
