My apologies for the late post this week. I took a long weekend out of town but I'm back and ready to take advantage of all the fun Halloween festivities this week! So far I've been to a couple local haunted houses - The Darkness in Soulard and Creepyworld in Fenton. Last night I went on a haunted tour of Alton. Something completely different. I'll be writing all about my experience in my next entry. Did I mention I love Halloween?

Tuesday October 28:

United Way Taste Of Giving-This evening, 20% of your bill will be donated to United Way when you dine at one of 23 participating restaurants.

Metropolis Wine Club from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the Syndicate Condos, 917 Olive Street. FREE but RSVP is required by Monday the 27th at 5pm. If you miss the deadline, contact suzannemoak@yahoo.com. Hop and mingle in five unique condos in the Syndicate and sample themed wine and food pairings provided by City Grocers.

Thursday October 30:

Misoscary Party at Miso on Meramec at 9pm. Costume contest at midnight.

Perchelle Boutique welcomes the stores 2 newest additions-Kay Oss Designs and Lezli Ann Designs. 5-9 pm, refreshments provided.

Halloween party at HOME nightclub at the Ameristar Casino in St. Charles. Doors Open 10PM . HOME will be designed as a haunted house and there will be a $1000 Grand Prize Costume contest.

Friday October 31:

Halloween at Café Eau, 9p-1a in The Chase Park Plaza. Cocktail specials, live music and a costume contest.

9th Annual Spooktacular-The Night of 1000 Laughs, 7PM. Helps support the charites of Carney's Kids. Features celebrity comics, all you can eat buffet and a silent and live auction.

SoCo Superheroes Halloween Party w/ DJ Big D at 9PM @ The Pepper Lounge .

Saturday November 1:

63119 Art Tour - A celebration of the arts in Webster Groves. Artists open their studios to the public. 10am-4pm.

Connect With...-Connecting with a Purpose at Stray Rescue - 2320 Pine Street, 10:00am - 2:00pm. This is a volunteer opportunity to assist Stray Rescue with renovations of its new downtown animal center and move the building closer to accepting new strays. Directly after the volunteer opportunity, Blu CitySpaces will host a BBQ at 210 N. 17th Street downtown. Click here to RSVP.

Science Uncorked at the Saint Louis Science Center, 7PM-10PM. Sample a diverse array of wines and food pairings. Live music by the Phil Dunlap Trio.
