I attended my first Fashion Week show last night. All I can say is wow!

I started at the VIP pre-party that was held in the lobby of Hotel Lumiere. I'm not sure what the lobby normally looks like, but they had really turned it into something special for the evening. Everyone enjoyed complimentary drinks and appetizers up until showtime.

There were 3 lines premiering their spring 2009 collections. The first was from a local designer, Nina Ganci, the line is called Skif International. Here is a sample of the looks:

The second line shown was from Silver Dagger. It's a very tattooed, rock star collection. Some of the girls were a bit, shall I say, scantily clad? The looks were all very sexy. Silver Dagger is available locally at Jecca in Clayton. Here are several of the looks that were shown:

The third line was Meghan by Meghan Fabulous. This was my favorite of the night. Probably no surprise since she's dressed lots of Hollywood A-listers including Paris Hilton and Angelina Jolie. Very sexy, very pretty, very bright. Fabulous! You can find Meghan's looks locally at Perchelle on Washington Avenue downtown. Lots of great stuff was shown, here are a few of my favorites:
