I was a little worried that due to my schedule this weekend, I'd miss Taste Of St. Louis. Then I found out that we didn't have an early newscast today because of the Rams game. Score!

I love to eat. I mean, I really, really love food. I'm not one of those kinda girls that lives life nitpicking her food, living on really small portions or just eating salads. Not that I don't like salads.

I tried a mozzarella and tomato salad from House of Savoy, a lamb gyro (can't remember from where), an amazing pulled pork bbq sandwich from Rooster and believe it or not, saved room for some original gooey butter cake from Gooey Louie's. I wish I'd had room for more! So many great options. And everything I had was wonderful.

The weather was great for the event all weekend. Downtown this afternoon was a little crazy though. Parkpooloza was at the Arch grounds, there was a Rams game, a Cards game and Taste of St. Louis. Parking was a bit of a pain, but totally worth it.

Porta-sinks.JPG
Okay, have you ever seen anything like this before? Porta-sinks to go along with the porta-potties? Brilliant! They make the idea of having to use those facilities a bit easier to take.
