Here is my weekly list of fun things to do in and around the St. Louis area.

I'm excited to check out my first Oktoberfest in Soulard this weekend. We've also got an art fair or a Route 66 festival to choose from too.

Wednesday October 1:

Connect With...Kick-Off Happy Hour, 5:30pm to 8:00pm at Skybox - 800 North 3rd Street. Connect With...is the St. Louis region's young professionals collaborative.

Thursday October 2:

Downtown STL Neighborhood Nights, from 5-9PM . Explore downtown living in the Central Business District.

Anatomy Of Style Launch Party from 6-9 pm. A fashion show, wine, beer, signature drinks, and appetizers.

Friday October 3:

Keystone of St. Louis Fall Party, 7-11PM. $25 in advance or $30 at the door at the Contemporary Art Museum, 3750 Washington. Appetizers by Wolfgang Puck, drinks included in price. Proceeds benefit ARTLINK. Event is part of Connect With St. Louis events.

St. Louis Art D Tour at St. Louis Galleries and Museums. 6:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Shuttles will take you to around to area art galleries. After party at Sleek.

Friday October 3 - Sunday October 5:

Soulard Oktoberfest. Tents of music, booths of German food and lots of beer. Friday 5:00 pm - Midnight; Saturday 11am - Midnight; Sunday 11am - 6:00 pm.

Saturday October 4:

St. Louis Route 66 Festival from 11am - 9pm at the Old Chain of Rocks Bridge. Classic cars, motorcycles, music, a sock hop, a movie and more.

Saturday & Sunday October 4-5:

16th Annual Historic Shaw Art Fair in the Shaw neighborhood, between Kingshighway Boulevard and Grand Avenue. This event features 135 artists, a food court and live music. $5.00
