September 15-21 Here is my weekly list of fun things to do in and around the St. Louis area.
Tuesday 9/16: River City Professional Happy Hour, 5:30 -9pm at AM Lounge at 4054 Choteau. Wednesday 9/17: Cocktails for a Cause: Presented by the Riverfront Times at Home Nightclub from 6-8pm. $10 at the door supports Stray Rescue. Wednesday 9/17-Saturday 9/20: DeFace The Nation-Live political satire. Second City Improv Masters performing at The Touhill Performing Arts. Tickets are $35. Tickets are available at 314.516.4949 and www.touhill.org. Thursday 9/18: Sounds at the Station - Union Station:5:00-8:30PM. Music: Britbeat Parties at the Plaza, Westport Plaza from 5:00-8:00PM. "B" Seen on the Boulevard, 5:30-8:30 PM, $10 suggested donation benefiting Rebuilding Together St. Louis. The Black Dog Club Reunion at Throop Memorial Park from 6-8PM. Bring your pooch out for pet and people treats as well as pet contests, door prizes and raffles, and pet adoptions. Friday 9/19: Lafayette Square Community Happy hour from 4-7pm around Fountain Square. Food and drink, raffles and dogs for adoption. Proceeds benefit Stray Rescue. Balloon Glow - Forest Park (Central Field) at 7PM. Saturday 9/20: 3rd annual Grove Fest - Manchester Avenue between Sarah and Boyle from Noon to Midnight. This festival features live music, roller derby matches, food from area restaurants and beer and wine gardens. One Grand Night-The Inaugural Gala of Craft Alliance in Grand Center. A roaring twenties evening and after dinner speakeasy party. 8th Annual Old Webster Jazz & Blues Festival 12p-11p Free St. Louis Magazine's annual FEVER Fall Fashion Show, 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. Sunday 9/21: 3rd Annual Sushi Eating Contest. 3-8pm-Wasabi On Washington Ave (between Tucker & 13th St.) |
