Here is my weekly list of fun things to do in and around the St. Louis area. I've heard a lot of great things about Jammin' at the zoo which is this Wednesday. Miss Saigon is at the Muny this week and The Black Crowes are performing this weekend at Live Off The Levee! There are lots more listed here...be sure to check them out!


Miss Saigon @ The Muny. Performances nightly at 8:15pm.

Tuesday 7/22:

Metropolis Wine Club:Pinots, Patterns and Pixels, 6:30-8:30pm. Social networking and wine tasting. Each guest brings a bottle of Pinot (Grigio, Gris, Noir or Blanc) or a plate of appetizers to share. RSVP required.

Wednesday 7/23:

Jecca Grand Opening, 7-10p, 14 Meramec Ave, complimentary cocktails and appetizers by Roxane, after party at Roxane, rsvp to jecca@alivemag.com

Jazz In The Park - Missouri Botanical Gardens. Outdoor concert starts at 7:30pm. Music: Poor People of Paris (Vintage French cabaret music)

Jammin' At The Zoo - St. Louis Zoo. 6-10pm.
The Young Zoo Friends host a summer party lakeside in the center of the Zoo with live entertainment and wine tasting from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Food and beverages will be available for purchase throughout the evening.


Friday 7/25:

Outdoor music & movie - Old Orchard (Webster Groves). Music starts at 7pm.
Music: The Skeletons, Movie: Viewers Choice!! (TBD)

Jungle Boogie at the zoo-Friday night free concert series. 5-8 pm, Central Plaza.

Live Off The Levee - Outdoor concert and fireworks. Music: 8pm, The Black Crowes.

Saturday 7/26:

Live Off The Levee - Outdoor concert and fireworks. Music: 8pm, One Republic.

Grand Center Cinemania-Moulin Rouge begins at 9pm. Grand Center's Outdoor Film Series - offers audiences free outdoor viewing of Oscar Award-Winning musicals on a 20-foot blow-up screen.

One Republic After Party, 10:00pm, The Old Rock House - 1200 South Seventh Street
Join Celebrate St. Louis, Sauce Magazine and RCP after the One Republic show. The cost of the event is $10 with the proceeds going to the Fair St. Louis Foundation.

Outdoor movie - Lafayette Square Park, near the Pavilion. Movie starts at 8:30pm. Movie: The Wizard of Oz

Sunday 7/27:

Musical Nights in Oak Knoll Park - NW corner of Big Bend Boulevard and Clayton Road.. 5-7pm. Music: Lucky Dan and Naked Mike
