A two alarm fire destroyed the garage on a home at Braquewood Court in Manchester. The fire broke out just before 1:30pm. Careless smoking is to blame. There were no injuries. Two adults and five children have been displaced. A home to the east sustained exterior fire damage.

A fire completely gutted a house on Elm Court in St. Peters this afternoon. It took firefighters more than an hour to extinguish the fire. Three teenage boys got out of the house without injury but a dog and two cats died in the fire. The cause is still under investigation.
