Emergency workers in Normandy have responded to what they're calling a mass casualty incident on east bound interstate 70 at Bermuda. There are reportedly multiple injuries although the first reports are that none are critical or serious. Chopper 4 is heading to the scene as are ground crews. This is an accident involving a school bus and a tractor trailer ...(Press release from Belleville Police) The suspect in this case has just been charged with First Degree Murder. Update in reference to Homicide reported below; the victim has been identified... Police are looking for a gunman after a 17-year-old male was shot while walking on St. Ferdinand near Sumner High. It happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday. Police say multiple shots were fired. The victim was hit in the leg. Injuries are not life threatening. Fire dispatchers in St. Clair, Mo report two large brush fires working near the Franklin County community. Fire equipment from all around the region is either on the scene or headed that way. The first blaze is in the 21 hundred block of West Springfield road, west of St. Clair...while the second is reported along highway 47. There are no word on any injuries. Dispatchers are not sure if any structures are threatened. ... |
