Hazelwood police confirm a man was wounded in an apparent drug related shooting at the Ramada Inn in the 9 thousand block of Dunn Road this afternoon. Fatal car crash near Hamel, IL

Illinois State Police say this happened at about 12:45, when a van, being driven in the south bound lanes of 55 just south of Hamel, for some reason, crossed over into the north bound lanes and struck the trailer section of a tractor trailer heading the opposite direction. This happened at Halls Ferry and Cottonwood in Jennings- two men in a black Dodge Magnum with Missouri temporary plates opened fire on a male in a second vehicle which travelled on several blocks to Jennings Station and Halls Ferry where the victim crashes his car into a tree.. this is at six saturday evening. at last check the bad guys are still at large

Homicide in north St. Louis

The St.Louis City Police Department confirms they are investigating a murder in the 52 hundred block of Highland in north St Louis. The incident happened at about 2:30 this afternoon, behind a vacant house on that block. Police believe the victim, identified only as a male in his mid twenties, was gambling with several other men. Body found in Cuiver River State Park

The Lincoln County Sheriff's office confirms that the St. Louis Area Major Case Squad has been activated to investigate a body found in the Cuiver River State Park, near Troy, Missouri. Normandy school bus accident

Emergency workers in Normandy have responded to what they're calling a mass casualty incident on east bound interstate 70 at Bermuda. There are reportedly multiple injuries although the first reports are that none are critical or serious. Chopper 4 is heading to the scene as are ground crews. Belleville: Teen charged with murdering grandmother

St. Louis: Teenager shot near Sumner High School

Police are looking for a gunman after a 17-year-old male was shot while walking on St. Ferdinand near Sumner High. It happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday. Police say multiple shots were fired. The victim was hit in the leg. Injuries are not life threatening.

St. Clair, MO: Two large brush fires are burning

Fire dispatchers in St. Clair, Mo report two large brush fires working near the Franklin County community. Fire equipment from all around the region is either on the scene or headed that way. The first blaze is in the 21 hundred block of West Springfield road, west of St. Clair...while the second is reported along highway 47. There are no word on any injuries. Dispatchers are not sure if any structures are threatened.
