POTOSI, Mo. (AP) -- A 22-year-old eastern Missouri woman will go to trial on charges related to the death of her 17-month-old daughter.
A judge ruled Tuesday that the case against Jaimee Kelly Scott of rural Bismarck could move forward. Arraignment will be July 20. She is charged with endangering the welfare of a child.

University of Illinois: Thefts at Native American Student building

Two pieces of artwork were stolen from outside the Native American Studies building, 1206 W. Nevada St., early Saturday morning, according to University police reports.

The artworks resemble metal signs and were stolen between 2:13 a.m. and 2:28 a.m. Saturday morning, according to video evidence. Images of the suspect can be viewed at the Department of Public Safety's Web site.

Police responded to an Armed Robbery at the Circle K store at 3801 North Belt West Thursday morning at 12:57.

The suspect entered the store, pointed a gun at the clerk and demanded money. The clerk followed orders and the suspect fled with an undisclosed amount of money.
