MARYVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- The search continues for a man who authorities say concealed his face with pantyhose over his head and robbed a Maryville nursing home of drugs at gunpoint.

(KMOV) -- Three men held up a gas station in the Metro-East and ended up getting away.
It happened at the Belleville Gas Mart in the 2400 block of Lebanon Avenue.
Police say the men entered the store and one showed a weapon to the clerk.
They did get away with some money.
No one was hurt.

TRENTON, Mo. (AP) -- Trenton Police Chief Bob Lewis has released the names of a local man and his young daughter who died over the weekend in a murder-suicide.
Police say 40-year-old Robert Newton of Trenton killed his 3-year-old daughter, Elizabeth, and then fatally shot himself Saturday. The deaths occurred at a home in southeast Trenton.
The Grundy County coroner's office ruled the deaths a murder-suicide.

(KMOV) -- A man is dead following a shooting in north St. Louis.
It happened around 8:00 p.m. on Thursday in the 4200 block of Fair.
Terry Gillespie, 54, died after being shot in the chest.
According to police, Gillespie and an acquaintance were sitting on a rear porch when an armed man walked up and shot Gillespie in the chest.
The suspect then fled the scene.

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- A St. Louis man is sentenced to 15 years in prison for burglarizing several churches, and setting fire to one.
The sentence was handed down Monday for 40-year-old Frank Allen Zdanowski. He had earlier pleaded guilty to 23 charges.

(KMOV) -- Downtown St. Louis' nightlife and loft district was the scene of an overnight shooting that ended with a car crashing into one of the loft buildings.
It happened around 2:15 a.m. near the corner of Washington Avenue and Tucker.
Police say someone in one car fired shots into another car, causing the crash.

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- A Metro East teen accused of illegally tattooing a child last month is facing misdemeanor charges.
Prosecutors in Madison County have charged 18-year-old Michael Whitlock of Cottage Hills with child endangerment and tattooing a minor.
