The shooting happened around 930am this morning. Police beliee this is a drug related shooting. The victim is still alive at a local hospital. The fire has gone to two alarms. ...The Granite City Police Department is investigating a domestic disturbance that led to a dog being shot. The incident occured in the 1600 block of Maple just before 4am this morning. Officers spoke with a male occupant who stated his girlfriend fired a weapon inside the house during an argument and may have injured a dog. Police are not releasing many details at this time. News 4 has learned that the man was shot to death. The man's name has not yet been released. EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- A southern Illinois high school health teacher is charged with sexual assault for an alleged five-month relationship with one of her students. Edwardsville police say 37-year-old Kasey E. Johnes of Glen Carbon was arrested Wednesday. She's being held on $100,000 bond at the Madison County Jail. Police allege Johnes had a sexual relationship with the male student that started in the fall and ended in... St. Louis police are investigating a triple shooting. No word yet on any suspects. Police are investigating after a 16-year-old girl was shot in north St. Louis. It happened on Sunday in the 3900 block of Ashland. Witnesses say that the girl may have been playing with a gun.
