The St. Louis Police Department is working a shooting scene in the 3700 block of Minnesota. Police confirm a 30 year old male has been shot multiple times. The shooting happened around 930am this morning. Police beliee this is a drug related shooting. The victim is still alive at a local hospital. There are no suspects.

The Granite City Police Department is investigating a domestic disturbance that led to a dog being shot. The incident occured in the 1600 block of Maple just before 4am this morning. Officers spoke with a male occupant who stated his girlfriend fired a weapon inside the house during an argument and may have injured a dog. Litchfield: Search is on for missing boater

Litchfield police, along with state agencies, are searching Lake Lou Yeager for a missing boater. The man, a 49 year old Staunton resident, was last seen working on his lake lot Wednesday afternoon around 230 p.m. Hunters saw his boat spinning in the water. East St. Louis: Man found shot to death

(KMOV) -- East St. Louis police are investigating after a man was found dead outside of his car.

The man's body was found around 7:00 a.m. on Thursday in the 1700 block of Market.

Police are not releasing many details at this time.

News 4 has learned that the man was shot to death.

St. Louis: Truck driver charged in deadly crash

(KMOV) - Prosecutors have filed charges against the truck driver involved in a massive fatal accident on Interstate-64/Highway 40.


The crash happened in July of 2008.


Jeffery Knight, of Muscle Shoals, Ala., now faces three counts of involuntary manslaughter.


Knight plowed his truck into traffic that was stopped on 64/40 near I-270.

Edwardsville: Teacher charged with having sexual relationship with student

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. (AP) -- A southern Illinois high school health teacher is charged with sexual assault for an alleged five-month relationship with one of her students.

Edwardsville police say 37-year-old Kasey E. Johnes of Glen Carbon was arrested Wednesday. She's being held on $100,000 bond at the Madison County Jail.
