It happened just before 4:00 a.m. in the 3600 block of Cottage.

Police say the victim is a man in his 30's.

The robber passed a note to the teller. He did not show or imply he had a weapon. He fled after taking an undisclosed amount of cash. Through investigation, local law enforcement arrested a suspect and recovered the money within an hour of the crime.

Belleville: Metrolink death

Authorities are investigating a death on the Metrolink tracks near Route 161 and Dutch Hollow Road in Belleville. At around 7:30 a man was struck and killed after he walked out in front of a westbound train. Investigators are not sure why the victim was on the tracks to begin with. The man's identity is not being released. Authorities are speculating this may have been a suicide.
