The East St. Louis and Illinois State Police are investigating a homicide that occurred shortly after 1:30 am at the Crown Food Mart in East St. Louis. An 18 year old male was pumping gas when a silver Dodge Charger pulled along side the victim and fired several shots. Bystanders loaded the victim into a vehicle and drove the him to Kenneth Hall hospital where he died. Right now police are not releasing the victim's name. Anyone with information is urged to call either the East St. Louis Police Department or Illinois State Police.
