Just after 4:40 this morning there was a fatal vehicle accident at Delmar and Skinker. According to police a white van traveling westbound on Delmar struck a Nissan Ultima traveling southbound on Skinker. The 28 year old male driver of the van was transported to an area hospital in stable condition. The driver of the Ultima, 46 year old Clyde Okain of the 2100 block of McPherson was dead at the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
