Hazelwood police confirm a man was wounded in an apparent drug related shooting at the Ramada Inn in the 9 thousand block of Dunn Road this afternoon. The victim was hit once in the lower back and is being treated at an area hospital; his wounds are not believed to be life threatening. Police say the victim was in a room at the ramada with several other witnesses and four suspects, when one of the suspects opened fire. The four suspects fled in what's described only as a red pontiac grand prix and are still at large. The shooting was reported at about one this afternoon and reportedly stems from a drug deal gone bad.
