Update in reference to Homicide reported below; the victim has been identified... Police are looking for a gunman after a 17-year-old male was shot while walking on St. Ferdinand near Sumner High. It happened around 7:30 a.m. Monday. Police say multiple shots were fired. The victim was hit in the leg. Injuries are not life threatening. Fire dispatchers in St. Clair, Mo report two large brush fires working near the Franklin County community. Fire equipment from all around the region is either on the scene or headed that way. The first blaze is in the 21 hundred block of West Springfield road, west of St. Clair...while the second is reported along highway 47. There are no word on any injuries. Dispatchers are not sure if any structures are threatened. ... |
