Historic Snowfall.

It's 7:00 on Sunday morning and I'm here in the Storm Center...again. I've been providing some updates on the air and the web to keep everyone informed. Blowing and drifting snow is still a problem but at least the snowfall has ended. But not without fanfare.

Snowfall totals ranged from under an inch in the far southern counties, where it mixed with sleet and rain, to over 8 inches to the northeast.

Sunday in the Storm Center

It's been a busy morning here in the Storm Center. I've been providing live coverage on the air at the top and bottom of every hour. So far it's all going about as planned. Marginal freezing conditions in St. Louis but as you travel west and north of town things get bad fast.

Several reports of accidents along I-70 and I-270. Boone and Clark bridges are slick and I-64 in the Gumbo Flats (Chesterfield Valley) is tricky. Temperatures ar...
