Kent Ehrhardt: October 2007 ArchivesRemember the severe weather outbreak we experienced earlier in the monrth. The Storm Prediction center is reporting that we had a record tornado outbreak and one of the busiest October for tornadoes on record. Here's a link to the release from the Storm Prediction Center: http://www.noaanews.noaa.gov/stories2007/20071031_tornado.html ...It's going to be a sunny weekend in St. Louis in more ways than one! First of all the weather is shaping up beautifully. After a foggy start the sun should break out on Saturday. Wanted to give you all the opportunity to see the latest photos and info from the National Weather Service regarding storms that rolled through Missouri and Illinois on Tuesday night. If you were watching yesterday (Wed.) at 5:00 and 6:00 you know that I was up in Palmyra reporting live on the damage. The owner of the welding company that had the damage was in one of his large pole barn buildings when the storm hit. Fortunately he wasn't hurt.... |
