9:45 PM Thursday evening in the Storm center. Severe thunderstorm watch in effect until 2 AM. Storms are popping up and moving in from the west and northwest but no warnings...yet. We'll be here all night if need be. Instability was impressive about an hour ago but looks to be weakening a little bit now. Certainly not out of the woods yet but maybe we'll get another break. So far not much of a severe storm season. Fine by me. Kent
