It's Steve here in the weather center...and with severe storms possible later this week I wondered how many of you know that the national weather service broadcasts weather information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week? And if you purchase a special radio it will beep in the middle of the night to warn you of incoming severe weather. We usually refer to it as NOAA weather radio (NOAA is the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the ... What an age in which we live! Not only do we have a man-made marvel of scientific ingenuity in orbit right now around our home planet, but we also have the ability to accurately predict when that home-spun "satellite" will be visible in our local sky!
