Random lady strips, pole dances on subway

You know what they say about New York: Once you've made it there, you move to somewhere where you can have your own car.

At least, that's what I say about New York.

The defining moment of my personal experience with public transportation in NYC was when I slipped in a pool of barf on an empty subway car.

(Moral of the story: Empty cars are empty for a reason.)

That was pretty bad, but I'd take barf over a naked stranger any day.

Apparently commuters in the Big Apple were recently treated to an impromptu pole dance by a lady in the buff on a crowded subway train, The New York Post reports.

Yeah.

Now, I'm not sure about you guys, but a subway car is pretty much the last place in the universe that I would like to be naked.

In fact, if possible, I'd prefer to levitate in an impenetrable bubble for the entirety of my commute -- or at the very least don a full medieval suit of armor and crouch in the corner with a can of Lysol, sobbing quietly to myself.

But never mind me -- let's talk about the naked chick.

Heeeeeere comes the party train! Woowooo!

According to The Post, her name is Jocelyn Saldana, and she got her strip on as part of an art project by photographer Zach Hyman.

It seems that Hyman and his team of volunteer bum-barers run all over the city, taking it off and snapping pictures in public.

Sounds like a good way to go to the Nude York City jail, doesn't it?

Hyman says they've managed to keep their cans out of the can so far. They're stealthy, you see. Hyman says the models only stay naked for 30 seconds at a time.

(Still, that's plenty of time for me to run screaming for eye bleach, speed-dialing my therapist.)

Now, before you dudes out there go beseeching Hyman to bring his ... um ... modern art to Houston, know this: It's not just the ladies strutting their stuff in his pics.

Men are involved, too, though the photog admits that people do get a little more bent out of shape when the guys run about in their birthday suits.

(Shudder)

Amen to that.
