If I was going to rob a bank, I would probably make some kind of a checklist ...

Procure an awesome disguise (preferably a Big Bird suit or a cloak of invisibility) ... check. Make my way to a bank and rob it ... check. Make my getaway without accepting a ride from an officer of the law... check. Purchase shoes ... check.

See? Piece of cake.

But - tragically for accused bank robber Mark White - my checklist wasn't prepared in time for his alleged heist.

The cops said he got away with the money, all right, but then he hopped right into the welcoming ride of an undercover police officer to make his not-so-great escape, The Saginaw News reports.

D'oh!

Police said about five minutes after the robbery, White flagged down undercover Detective Scott Jackson.

Happy to oblige, Jackson let him in and called in his buddies for backup.

As soon as White saw the other cops coming, police said he tried to open the car door and bail.

It didn't work.

He was taken into custody and charged with a bunch of seriously bad stuff.

Good guys: 1 Bad guys: 0 and a heaping helping of neener-neener-neener.
