A poll conducted for the Oxygen network revealed what exasperated husbands have been saying since the dawn of man: Women are nuts. According to Reuters, 25 percent of the more than 2,000 ladies surveyed said they would rather win "America's Next Top Model" than a Nobel Peace Prize. (Insert uncomfortable silence here.) Ahem ... but it gets even better than that - 75 percent of the women surveyed said they'd shave their heads to save a stranger's life, and 88 percent said they'd happily give up their cell phone, jewelry and makeup to keep a friendship ... but more than a fourth of them said they would make their best friend fat forever if it meant they could sport a svelte physique.
OK ... OK ... Hang on just a minute. So if you don't know me, you'll get a funny haircut to spare my demise. But if you do know me, you'll wish me tubby to shave a few inches off your own behind?? And here's a nice statistic from the Dept. of Duh: Half of all golddiggers - err, 18- to 24-year-olds surveyed--said they would marry an ugly dude if he had a big fat bank account. I'll pause for a moment so that groundbreaking morsel of information can sink in. In the meantime, I think I'm going to go hang out with the guys. 5 CommentsLeave a comment |

Wow, that's utterly pathetic. My already low opinion of the female sex has just dropped a few more notches. :)
what a celebration of the obvious...it's like asking if cows fart...
I have lost 57 lbs since October 2008 and am now smaller than I have ever been with a very toned and muscular body. I have worked extremely hard to get to this point. Along the way, I have lost several "dear friends" whom I used to go out and eat with all the time. Women are cruel, even though I am one, I will say that. No congratulations from my friends, but you know I feel great and I don't need them. However, their men wished they cared enough about themselves to get in shape like me.

So a 1/4 of them would only wish a friend fat? And 3/4 of them said they'd shave their head to help someone, over 3/4 would happily give up some possessions to keep a friendship. But the article and the comments can only harp on the lower 25% percentage and broadly sweep all women with it?
