Bury me in a beer can

It sounds like a bad Jeff Foxworthy joke, but it's not.

Some dude in Illinois wants to be buried in a giant can of Pabst Blue Ribbon.

And far be it from good sense or taste to deny Bill Bramanti what he wants.

This tasty adult beverage doubles as a place of eternal rest! And makes Julienne fries!

He built himself a beer can casket and threw a party for his friends where he filled his silver sudsy place of eternal rest with ice and brewskis, The Associated Press.

"Why put such a great novelty piece up on a shelf in storage when you could use it only the way Bill Bramanti would use it?" said Bramanti's daughter, Cathy.

Though Bramanti, 67, says he doesn't plan on using his beer casket anytime soon, it's ready and waiting, should his keg be tapped.

Beer jokes are fun.

No tea?!?? OH, THE HUMANITY!

Britons are famously cool under pressure, even in the face of nuclear war.

But threaten their tea supply and THEY. WILL. FREAK. OUT.

Recently declassified documents from the national archives show that government contingency planners facing nuclear threats in the 50s spent a great deal of time fretting about radiation ... err ... slow and painful death ... no, wait ... the complete obliteration of civilization ... err, actually ... tea.

The planners noted that, in the event of a nuclear attack, the shortage of tea would be "very serious," the AFP reports.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

"The tea position would be very serious with a loss of 75 percent of stocks and substantial delays in imports and with no system of rationing it would be wrong to consider that even one ounce (28 grams) per head per week could be ensured," a declassified memo from 1956 read.

What's worse, (shock! horror!) the planners noted that a "satisfactory solution" was never found.

Dun dun DUNNNNNN!
