There are many enjoyable things about preparing for one's wedding, but squeezing into a sample size wedding dress is not one of them.
Not for me at least.
I know I'm not the only bride-to-be who feels the pressure to drop the pounds. But never was that feeling more suffocating than when I stood in front of a chipper woman holding the dress of my dreams in a size I more readily associate with me circa 1993.
