The always a bridesmaid, never a bride curse was lifted off Adrienne M. Cody on Sept. 29, 2007.

Adrienne graduated from the University of Texas in 2005 with a degree in journalism. The Forty Acres is also where she met her fiancé, Matt Owen. It turned out they both love sports, fine foods and the writings of Dante Alighieri, so why not love each other too?

He is a recent graduate of Michigan Law School, located in cold, cold Ann Arbor.

Between obsessively writing to-do lists and dreaming about how many pink wares can be included in their wedding, Adrienne enjoys reading, working out and pretending to be a rock star in the safety of her own bedroom. She shamelessly checks Martha Stewart’s Web site every day, despite not being a gardener or the type of person who can touch raw meat.

Matt and Adrienne have a black and white cat, Felix. He’s thrilled his parents will finally make it legal Aug. 16, 2008.
