So, looks like the ol' blog is starting to feel some neglect as our wedding dates rapidly approach. It's not like we don't have millions of hilarious/sad/inspiring things to say or that we're not thinking of you, loyal readers, but I have even been too tired to visit all of my time-wasting Web sites! Do you know how many cheezburger cats I had to look at today?! A LOT, a lot more than the amount of food I've had that even resembles a cheezburger in the past several months. Candy: I miss you. Remember when we were friends? I could use you for a sugar jolt. Anywhoodle, Matt and I are not going on a honeymoon (gotta get to Denver and start working), so I am trying to schedule some relaxation time. ..... HAHAHA! HA! Ha ... we're only 17 days away. (Taylor is 11, just in case you are all keeping up, and I know you are.) Instead of relaxing, I'm going on a candy hunt (no tasting allowed) next week. I have to find millions of candies that are colored pink, black or white. It's not as easy as it sounds. Remember what Taylor said about favors? I second that; no wait: I one-million that. Is that possible? Who cares. Favors are ridiculous, and whoever invented them is a mean person who had a lot of time (and extra money) on their hands. I stamped 200 bags with a message from Mr. and Mrs. Owen. Now I must find things to go in the bags. Candy on the list: Good and Plenty: Apparently, people eat this. I don't know if I believe my bridesmaid or not though. That's all I've got. Can you think of anything else I can buy easily? My brain hurts.

I googled pink candy. The best I could come up with is this hello kitty marshmallow pop.

I just got married a year ago and used the M&Ms thing. I know Swoozies in Central Market in the Woodlands has the individual colors you can purchase. They're not stamped like mms.com but probably cheaper...I was married in May and had no melting problems.
Good luck!! My word of advice...no matter what happens (or doesn't)...you will still be married at the end of the day. Don't sweat the small stuff.
Good and Plentys (Plenties??) are good, so you better have plenty. Hahahahaha, I crack myself up. My mom and I will eat all of them.
Go to Candylicious. I'm sure you'll find a lot of stuff there!
Dylan's Candy Shop in the Galleria! Although I feel bad sending you there, you not being able to roll around in the candy. It's next to Gucci, which would make me feel better. Purse and shoe candy is way less fattening then candy candy.
I dove face-first into some red sour belts shortly after this posting. They were magical.
Candylicious DOES have the M&Ms I need! Thanks, Amber!
MAM: I have a vintage Gucci I need to get repaired. Maybe I'll sniff it to feel better. :)
I think you should buy those special edition Harry Potter "vomit" jelly beans. They aren't pink or black, but believe me...one taste of that and no one is going to want your favors. Voila - money saved!
I think I speak on behalf of my readers when I ask: Why have you tried those?
