There's good clean fun, and then there's this: Wedding Belles was among hundreds of Houston brides who tore through two specially-made, 100-foot-long French vanilla wedding cakes at the Bridal Symposium Saturday. Though this blogger would've rather eaten her way through it, I got dirty with the rest of the brides-to-be, sloshing through piles of frosting, searching for prizes. They've got a pretty cool thing going over there - 22 tokens were hidden inside the cake, good for everything from honeymoons to luggage to china. The girl right next to me actually found one of the tokens, but since there was a camera rolling I was unable to pull a fast one and run off with her newly-discovered riches. (Rats.) In case you missed out, you can head over and get your cake dive on again on Sunday, April 6. They also have another show in September. TrackBackTrackBack URL for this entry: |

A CAKE being destroyed rather than eaten? In the name of Homer, what is this world coming to?
A for effort Billy! Didn't your mom teach you how to rip into a cake at your 1st birthday party?
I was there! I found one of the charms and won a free minister! Although I would have rather won that free honeymoon I still can't complain.
Sara! You lucky bride!!!! Hey, as far as weddings are concerned, a free anything is nice, right? Congrats! :) -T
