The bridal proofs are in! Any pain I endured was not evident until the very end of the photo session, where not even the gloriousness of the 5:30 p.m. sun could make my half-wince beautiful (maybe Matt would disagree - maybe he is required to do so).

Obviously I can't post any pictures of the dress or me, so here is one of my mini bouquet from that day.

That is actually the size I'd like my real bouquet to be ... I don't want to be swallowed by flowers.

I am really glad I decided to do a bridal portrait; I was actually considering cutting it at some point. (Was I drunk? Unclear.) My nerves are much more calm now that I've had a hair and makeup run through. It reminded me of dress rehearsal, without the backstage hijinks, high school drama and Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody."

I'll probably bring back the Queen for the big day. :)

P.S. Matt has already asked to see "just one" picture. Here it is! I know you love flowers! Mwa ha ha ha!
