Basilica Sunbeams Misleading

Ok, check out this picture I took during the consistory today. Wasn't it supposed to rain? Where's all that sun coming from? Well, the forecasters were right afterall and it did rain immediately after the consistory. Still the entire service was held inside. In the foreground you can see the media under the sunfilled window, cardinals in red and bishops in fuchia (sp?).

I'm using a small digital camera and was shooting the pictures as my co-worker Lynn Roder videotaped the service. I"ll be sending a few more pictures back throughout the evening. We have another big day tomorrow. That's when Cardinal DiNardo will receive his ring. Vicente Arenas Blogging from Rome. Saturday November 24, 2007 7:24pm.
