Archbishop Daniel DiNardo in Rome

By: Vicente Arenas reporting from Rome

Shortly after getting off a 14 hour flight this afternoon I talked with Archbishop Daniel DiNardo outside the world famous Gammarrelli’s Tailor Shop.

The Cardinal Designate was having some last minute touches made to his vestments which he will wear during his elevation ceremony on Saturday.

The Archbishop was in a good mood and even joked around a little.

He recalled having lived in Rome and said he would be a great tour guide.

The weather here this afternoon was sunny and cool.

It's getting really cool now that the sun has gone down. If you know of anyone coming to Rome tell them to wear comfortable shoes. They may have to walk down a flight of stairs from the plane onto the tarmac and then get into a bus before ever getting into the terminal.

Also beware, rain is in the forecast for this weekend.
