Darby, the recent increase of the emerg. equip. on the freeways is due to an order from the fire chief that we no longer block 1 lane, the new order includes extra equipment on every freeway, tollway, and parkway and that it be used to block a minimum of 2 lanes and 3 lanes at the discretion of the officer on the scene. there is no option to not block extra lanes anymore. The order is in print and can be viewed if you want
