How do I report a traffic light problem?

Would you please inform me where do I have to call to report a traffic light malfunctioning? That is making commuters sweat in Clay Road and Brittmore.

Thanks,
Pat

Pat, this one is easy! Just dial 311 from any phone and you'll get the city of Houston. They are staffed 24/7 and do nothing but take those kind of calls and then dispatch the proper crew to fix the problem.

Enjoy!

Does that apply to traffic lights outside of Houston? The lights at Grand Parkway and 90 in Fort Bend County routinely go out when it rains consistently. It took me an hour to travel the same distance that should only take me about 5 minutes.

Joy,

Probably not but they might be able to give you the number for the county that does take care of those signals.
